- Maintain and troubleshoot all broadcast equipment, including but not limited to transmitters, consoles, audio processors, and other related systems.
- Implement new technology and equipment into the broadcast workflow, ensuring smooth integration and operation.
- Work closely with the programming and production teams to ensure high-quality audio and content delivery.
- Monitor and maintain signal quality and integrity to ensure seamless transmission to listeners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruptions to live broadcasts.
- Keep up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in broadcast technology, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and improvements.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the setup and execution of live broadcasts, including audio routing, microphone placement, and equipment checks.
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and interns on broadcast equipment and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment and system configurations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on equipment status and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all industry and company safety regulations and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized engineering workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In Radio.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field.
Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Repairing Broadcast Equipment, Including Transmitters, Audio Processors, And Studio Equipment.
Knowledge Of Fcc Regulations And Compliance For Radio Broadcasting.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
