
Broadcast Engineer

- Maintain and repair all broadcast systems and equipment, including transmitters, receivers, audio processors, and studio equipment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts, ensuring minimal disruption to programming.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of all broadcast equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new technologies and processes to improve the overall quality and efficiency of our broadcast operations.
- Provide technical support and assistance to on-air talent and production staff, ensuring smooth and seamless execution of live shows and events.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in broadcast technology, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and investments.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of all broadcast systems and equipment, including maintenance schedules, troubleshooting procedures, and equipment inventory.
- Adhere to all FCC regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with broadcast standards and regulations.
- Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery efforts, including after-hours on-call support.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential technical issues, and make recommendations for system improvements to enhance overall broadcast performance.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In Radio.
Extensive Knowledge Of Radio Broadcasting Equipment, Including Transmitters, Antennas, And Studio Equipment.
Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Maintenance Of Broadcast Systems, As Well As Experience With Automation Systems.
Familiarity With Fcc Regulations And Standards, And Ability To Ensure Compliance With Broadcast Guidelines.
