  1. Maintain and troubleshoot broadcast equipment and systems to ensure uninterrupted on-air broadcasts.
  2. Monitor and respond to technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain high-quality broadcasts.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff to implement new systems and upgrades.
  4. Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on broadcast equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, as well as equipment inventory.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in broadcast technology.
  7. Train and support other staff members on the use and maintenance of broadcast equipment.
  8. Work closely with content producers and on-air talent to ensure high-quality audio and video content.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures for working with broadcast equipment.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized broadcast engineering workspace.
  11. Communicate effectively with management and other departments to report any technical issues and provide solutions.
  12. Conduct research and make recommendations for equipment and system upgrades to improve efficiency and quality.
  13. Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors as needed for repairs and installations.
  14. Perform regular tests and checks to ensure compliance with FCC regulations.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance overall broadcast quality and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In Radio.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Broadcast Equipment, Including Transmitters, Audio Consoles, And Signal Processing Equipment.

  • Experience With Digital Audio Systems And Streaming Technologies.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Issues.
