- Design, install, and maintain broadcast equipment and systems to ensure smooth and reliable transmission of radio broadcasts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts or in the day-to-day operation of the radio station.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of audio signals, ensuring that they meet industry standards and adhere to company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning properly for on-air shows and events.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on broadcast equipment to prevent downtime or interruptions in service.
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of radio broadcasts.
- Train and support other team members on the proper use and maintenance of broadcast equipment and systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation on broadcast equipment and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Work closely with other departments, such as IT and operations, to coordinate and implement new technology initiatives.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe and secure working environment for all staff.
- Provide technical support and assistance during live broadcasts and special events, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Maintain an organized inventory of equipment and spare parts to facilitate timely repairs and replacements.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to source and install new equipment or upgrades as needed.
- Take ownership of projects and initiatives related to improving the efficiency and overall performance of broadcast equipment and systems.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable broadcasts to our listeners.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In Radio.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Familiarity With Fcc Regulations And Standards For Radio Broadcasting.
Strong Knowledge Of Rf Systems, Studio Equipment, And Audio Processing.
Experience With Troubleshooting And Maintenance Of Broadcast Equipment.
