- Maintain and troubleshoot all broadcast equipment, including transmitters, studio equipment, and audio processors.
- Work closely with programming teams to ensure high-quality sound and content delivery.
- Develop and implement new technologies to improve the overall broadcasting experience.
- Monitor and maintain the satellite uplink and downlink systems.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of new software and hardware.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of broadcasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in broadcasting technology.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support and repairs.
- Adhere to all FCC regulations and guidelines.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment installation and repairs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues to identify and resolve root causes.
- Create and maintain documentation for all broadcasting equipment and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In Radio
Knowledge Of Fcc Regulations And Standards For Broadcast Equipment And Operations
Strong Understanding Of Audio And Video Signal Processing, Transmission, And Delivery Systems
Experience With Troubleshooting And Maintaining Broadcast Equipment, Including Transmitters, Studio Equipment, And Satellite Systems.
