
Broadcast Engineer

- Maintain and troubleshoot all technical equipment used for radio broadcasting, including audio and broadcast systems.
- Collaborate with other members of the broadcast team to ensure seamless production and delivery of radio shows.
- Set up and maintain broadcast audio systems, including microphones, soundboards, and audio editing software.
- Monitor and adjust audio levels, ensuring high-quality sound for all radio broadcasts.
- Create and implement backup plans in case of technical difficulties or equipment malfunctions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology.
- Communicate effectively with producers, hosts, and other team members to ensure smooth coordination and execution of radio shows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to live broadcasts.
- Conduct regular maintenance and routine checks on broadcast equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Train and mentor junior broadcast engineers and interns, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Provide technical support for remote broadcasts and special events.
- Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols and guidelines.
- Continuously improve and optimize broadcast processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
- Proactively identify and recommend solutions for potential technical issues before they arise.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In Radio.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Audio And Broadcast Equipment, Including Transmitters, Antennas, And Consoles.
Familiarity With Fcc Regulations And Procedures For Maintaining Compliance.
Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Quickly And Efficiently.
