Associate Producer, Talk Programming

1. Collaborate with the talk programming team to develop and produce high-quality content for Sirius XM Radio talk shows.
2. Assist in the creation of show rundowns, segment ideas, and guest research to ensure engaging and relevant programming.
3. Work closely with producers to ensure smooth and seamless execution of talk shows.
4. Help maintain and update show databases, contact lists, and other production materials.
5. Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving the overall quality and appeal of our talk programming.
6. Conduct thorough research on current events, trending topics, and guest backgrounds.
7. Assist in booking and coordinating guest appearances and interviews.
8. Monitor social media and other platforms for listener feedback and incorporate it into show development.
9. Collaborate with hosts and guests to ensure a positive and professional on-air experience.
10. Stay current on industry trends and make recommendations for incorporating new techniques and technologies into our programming.
11. Attend meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions to generate new and innovative ideas for talk shows.
12. Contribute to the development and implementation of promotional strategies to increase listenership and engagement.
13. Ensure all content meets company standards and guidelines.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
15. Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure the success of our talk programming.
