  1. Develop and implement materials management strategies to support company growth and objectives.
  2. Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply for production and minimizing excess inventory.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and logistics to optimize supply chain processes.
  4. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure timely delivery of materials at the best possible cost.
  5. Conduct regular analysis of materials data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Create and maintain reports on materials inventory, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
  7. Identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand materials needs and align with company objectives.
  9. Lead and coordinate materials planning meetings to ensure alignment and communication across departments.
  10. Continuously review and improve materials management procedures and systems to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  11. Train and mentor junior materials management team members.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international regulations.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in materials management to recommend new strategies and technologies.
  14. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates and reports on materials management activities.
  15. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the company through effective materials management practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Materials Management Within A Manufacturing Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, And Procurement Processes.

  • Experience With Sap Or Other Materials Management Software.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills With The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams.
