Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for our Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) department. As the Manager of RAMS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our products and services. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in engineering and a passion for driving excellence in RAMS.   1. Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of Siemens products and services.
  2. Manage a team of engineers and technicians responsible for RAMS activities, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  4. Conduct thorough analyses of product design and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Develop and maintain RAMS standards and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to product reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety.
  7. Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external customers regarding RAMS issues.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in RAMS methodologies to continuously improve processes and systems.
  9. Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  10. Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  11. Collaborate with project managers to ensure RAMS requirements are met within project timelines and budgets.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote a proactive approach to RAMS throughout the organization.
  13. Develop and manage RAMS budgets and resource allocation to support department goals.
  14. Communicate RAMS performance and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.
  15. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role, Preferably In The Field Of Railway Systems And Technology.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Rams (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, And Safety) Principles And Methodologies.

  • Proven Track Record In Successfully Managing Large-Scale Projects, Including Budget And Resource Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Business Management, Or A Related Field. Advanced Degree Or Relevant Certifications Are A Plus.
