- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to negotiate favorable terms and rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to transportation and distribution.
- Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations and ensure cost targets are met.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to team members to improve performance.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent the company in meetings with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to discuss logistics operations and resolve any issues.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and work towards building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Experience In Supply Chain Management: A Logistics Manager At Siemens Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, With A Focus On Logistics. This Includes Knowledge Of Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory Management, And Distribution.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Trends, And Make Informed Decisions Is Crucial For A Logistics Manager At Siemens. They Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Challenges That May Arise In The Supply Chain.
