  1. Perform regular maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meeting safety standards.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems, and make necessary repairs to restore functionality.
  3. Install new fire alarm systems and components in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry regulations.
  4. Keep detailed logs and records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed on fire alarm systems.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop cost-effective solutions for clients.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in fire safety codes and regulations.
  7. Conduct training sessions for building occupants on the proper use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  8. Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly to service calls and inquiries.
  9. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed to complete projects and repairs.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with fire alarm systems.
  11. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  12. Keep inventory of equipment and supplies necessary for maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems.
  13. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Fire Alarm Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Fire Alarm Systems, Including Their Components, Installation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Technical Skills: A Fire Alarm Systems Technician Should Possess Strong Technical Skills, Including The Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, And Technical Manuals. They Should Also Be Proficient In Using Hand And Power Tools, As Well As Testing Equipment.

  • Certification And Training: Siemens May Require Candidates To Have Specific Certifications Or Training Related To Fire Alarm Systems, Such As Nicet Certification Or Training From The National Fire Protection Association (Nfpa).

  • Experience: Previous Experience Working As A Fire Alarm Systems Technician Is Preferred. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Installing, Maintaining, And Repairing Fire Alarm Systems.
