- Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow products, including user guides, release notes, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and validate technical content.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise written materials for a variety of audiences.
- Assist in updating and improving existing technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct research and gather information from various sources to support technical writing projects.
- Follow industry standards and best practices for technical writing and documentation.
- Participate in team meetings to provide updates on documentation progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and product updates to ensure accurate and relevant documentation.
- Proofread and edit technical documents for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the user experience through documentation.
- Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Help with the onboarding and training of new technical writers and interns.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in technical writing processes and tools.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing ServiceNow.
- Take initiative and be proactive in identifying and addressing any technical writing needs within the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Technical Writing, English, Communications, Or A Related Field.
Strong Writing Skills With The Ability To Communicate Complex Technical Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Experience With Technical Writing Tools And Software, Such As Adobe Framemaker, Madcap Flare, Or Microsoft Word.
Familiarity With Project Management Methodologies And The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Deadline-Driven Environment.
Demonstrated Interest In Emerging Technologies And A Desire To Learn And Adapt To New Tools And Platforms.
