ServiceNow is seeking a talented Staff UX Researcher to join our dynamic team and help drive the user experience of our innovative products. As a Staff UX Researcher, you will have the opportunity to conduct in-depth research and provide valuable insights that will shape the development of our products. We are looking for an experienced researcher who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and a strong communicator.   1. Conduct user research: Design and execute user research studies to gather insights on user behaviors, needs, and preferences. This includes planning and conducting interviews, surveys, usability tests, and other research methods.
  2. Analyze and interpret data: Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from research studies to identify patterns, trends, and themes. Use this data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve the user experience of our products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand product goals and objectives, and incorporate user research findings into product development processes.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in user research and apply them to our processes to continuously improve our research methods.
  5. Develop research strategies: Create research plans and strategies that align with project goals and objectives. This includes defining research questions, selecting appropriate research methods, and identifying the target audience.
  6. Communicate research findings: Present research findings and insights to various stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. This includes creating reports, presentations, and other deliverables that effectively communicate research results and recommendations.
  7. Advocate for user-centric design: Use research findings to advocate for the needs and behaviors of our users and ensure that their perspectives are incorporated into product development processes.
  8. Ensure research quality: Maintain high standards for research quality and rigor, including adhering to ethical guidelines and best practices for conducting user research.
  9. Mentor junior researchers: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers to help them develop their skills and contribute to the team's overall success.
  10. Continuously improve research processes: Continuously evaluate and improve research processes, tools, and methods to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our research efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Or Related Field.

  • 3+ Years Of Experience Conducting Ux Research, Preferably In A Software Or Technology Company.

  • Proficiency In A Variety Of Research Methods, Including User Interviews, Surveys, Usability Testing, And Data Analysis.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Present Research Findings To Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Experience Working With Agile Development Teams And Integrating Ux Research Into The Product Development Process.
