As a leading provider of cloud-based services, ServiceNow is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Staff Systems Engineer - Hyperscaler. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for our hyperscaler clients, ensuring their systems are running smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in systems engineering and experience working with hyperscaler platforms.   1. Design and implement solutions for hyperscaler clients, ensuring their systems are running efficiently and effectively.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for hyperscaler clients, providing technical expertise and support.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features and enhancements for hyperscaler clients.
  4. Conduct regular system audits and performance checks to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hyperscaler systems, including infrastructure and applications.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in hyperscaler technology and make recommendations for improvements and updates.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation for hyperscaler systems and processes.
  8. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to hyperscaler clients.
  9. Mentor and train junior systems engineers on hyperscaler technology and best practices.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance of hyperscaler systems.
  11. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify and pursue new opportunities with hyperscaler clients.
  12. Maintain strong relationships with hyperscaler partners and vendors to ensure smooth integration and support for clients.
  13. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics and make recommendations for optimizations and improvements.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on hyperscaler technology and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  15. Continuously assess and improve processes and workflows related to hyperscaler systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Expertise In Hyperscaler Technologies: A Staff Systems Engineer At Servicenow Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Experience Working With Hyperscaler Technologies Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. They Should Be Able To Design, Deploy, And Manage Complex Infrastructure On These Platforms.

  • Strong System Architecture Skills: The Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of System Architecture Principles And The Ability To Design And Implement Scalable, Highly Available, And Fault-Tolerant Systems. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Architecting Systems For Large-Scale Distributed Applications.

  • Experience With Automation And Orchestration: As A Staff Systems Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Experience With Automation And Orchestration Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef. They Should Be Able To Automate Routine Tasks And Processes To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Manual Effort.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Programming: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Scripting Skills In Languages Such As Python, Bash, Or Powershell. They Should Also Have Experience With Programming Languages Such As Java, C++, Or Go, As Well As Experience With Writing And Maintaining Apis.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Requires The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues Quickly And Efficiently. The Candidate Should Be Able To Think Critically And Use A Systematic Approach To Problem-Solving To Identify And Resolve Issues In A Timely Manner.
