- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement Big Data solutions for our platform.
- Utilize your strong understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to develop scalable and high-performance data processing pipelines.
- Develop and maintain software code that meets design specifications and follows best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to Big Data processing.
- Analyze and optimize system performance to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Big Data technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation in our platform.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge and best practices to promote growth and development.
- Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all implemented solutions.
- Continuously improve and enhance existing codebase to ensure scalability and maintainability.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Proactively identify and address technical debt and ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Participate in recruitment processes and provide technical expertise in hiring decisions.
Proficiency In Big Data Technologies: A Staff Software Engineer At Servicenow Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Big Data Technologies Such As Hadoop, Spark, And Kafka. They Should Be Able To Design And Develop Large-Scale Data Processing Systems And Have Experience With Data Warehousing And Data Modeling.
Expertise In Programming Languages: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Extensive Experience With Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And Scala. They Should Have The Ability To Write Efficient And Optimized Code For Data Processing And Data Analysis Tasks.
Knowledge Of Database Systems: A Staff Software Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Database Systems, Including Both Relational And Nosql Databases. They Should Be Able To Design And Optimize Database Schemas For Efficient Data Storage And Retrieval.
