  1. Lead and conduct user research to uncover insights and identify potential accessibility challenges in our products and services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to improve the overall accessibility of our products.
  3. Stay up-to-date with accessibility standards and guidelines to ensure our products are compliant and inclusive.
  4. Use a variety of research methods, such as usability testing, interviews, and surveys, to gather data on user experiences and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Analyze research findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  6. Work closely with designers and developers to ensure accessibility is integrated into the product design and development process.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert on accessibility, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  8. Communicate and advocate for the importance of accessibility within the company and externally.
  9. Collaborate with product managers to prioritize accessibility features and enhancements.
  10. Contribute to the development of accessibility policies and guidelines for the company.
  11. Continuously monitor and evaluate the accessibility of our products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  12. Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on best practices and innovations in accessibility.
  13. Mentor and guide junior UX researchers on accessibility best practices.
  14. Act as a champion for inclusive design and advocate for accessibility in all aspects of our products and services.
  15. Collaborate with external organizations and user groups to gather feedback and insights on accessibility.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Conducting User Research And Usability Testing, With A Focus On Accessibility For People With Disabilities.

  • Strong Understanding Of Wcag (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) And Other Accessibility Standards.

  • Knowledge Of Assistive Technologies And Their Impact On User Experience, Including Screen Readers, Magnifiers, And Alternative Input Devices.

  • Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Designers, Developers, And Product Managers, To Advocate For Accessibility And Influence Design Decisions.

  • Experience With Conducting Accessibility Audits And Creating Remediation Plans To Address Accessibility Issues.
