- Lead and conduct user research studies to gather insights and feedback on AI/ML products and features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into user research strategies.
- Utilize a variety of research methods, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather data and make informed recommendations for product development.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in AI/ML technology and how they impact user experience.
- Use a user-centered approach to drive the design and development of AI/ML products, ensuring that they meet the needs and preferences of our target audience.
- Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Develop and maintain user personas, user journey maps, and other UX research artifacts to guide product development.
- Work closely with the design and product teams to ensure that AI/ML products are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with our overall brand and design principles.
- Mentor and guide other UX researchers on best practices for incorporating AI/ML into the user research process.
- Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and inform future product iterations.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to conduct research and gather insights on emerging AI/ML technologies and trends.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on AI/ML and user experience, providing guidance and insights to other teams within the company.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of UX research processes and standards within the company.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to showcase our AI/ML products and thought leadership.
Extensive Experience In Conducting User Research: A Senior Staff Ux Researcher Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Conducting User Research, Specifically In The Field Of Ai/Ml. They Should Be Well-Versed In Various Research Methods Such As Surveys, Interviews, Usability Testing, And Data Analysis.
Strong Understanding Of Ai/Ml Technology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ai/Ml Technology, Including Its Capabilities, Limitations, And Current Trends. They Should Be Able To Use This Knowledge To Inform Their Research And Provide Valuable Insights To The Product Team.
Ability To Design And Execute Research Studies: A Senior Staff Ux Researcher Should Be Able To Design And Execute Research Studies Independently, From Planning And Recruiting Participants To Analyzing And Presenting The Findings. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams To Gather Insights And Translate Them Into Actionable Recommendations.
Excellent Communication And Storytelling Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Research Findings And Insights To Different Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Tell Compelling Stories Using Data And Visuals To Influence Product Decisions.
Leadership And Mentoring Abilities: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Should Be Able To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Ux Researchers, Providing Guidance And Support To Help Them Grow And Develop In Their Roles.
