  1. Develop and execute comprehensive and detailed test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  2. Identify, analyze and report software defects and issues to the development team.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies.
  4. Conduct manual and automated tests on various software applications to validate functionality and performance.
  5. Create and maintain automated test scripts, tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
  6. Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  7. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues and to improve overall software quality.
  8. Utilize industry best practices and standards to continually enhance the software testing process.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on software testing techniques and processes.
  10. Continuously strive for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of our quality assurance processes.
  11. Stay updated with the latest technologies and tools in software testing and incorporate them into our testing process.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
  13. Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to improve code quality.
  14. Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge And Experience In Software Testing Methodologies: A Senior Software Quality Engineer At Servicenow Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Different Software Testing Methodologies, Such As Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Performance Testing, And Regression Testing. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Executing Test Plans, Test Cases, And Test Scripts.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Testing Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Programming Languages, Such As Java, Python, Or C++, And Be Familiar With Various Testing Tools, Such As Selenium, Jmeter, Or Appium. This Will Enable Them To Write Efficient And Effective Automated Tests And Troubleshoot Any Issues That Arise During The Testing Process.

  • Experience In Agile Development Methodology: Servicenow Follows The Agile Development Methodology, And A Senior Software Quality Engineer Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. They Should Be Familiar With Agile Principles, Such As Continuous Integration And Continuous Delivery, And Be Able To Adapt Quickly To Changing Requirements And Priorities.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Software Quality Engineer, The Ability To Think Critically And Analyze Complex Systems Is Crucial. They Should Be Able To Identify Potential Issues And Risks In The Software And Come Up With Effective Solutions To Mitigate Them. They Should Also Have Strong Troubleshooting Skills To Identify And Resolve Any Defects Or Bugs In The Software.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Software Quality Engineer At Servicenow Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Product Managers, And Other Quality Engineers.
