- Conduct thorough analysis of software licensing agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide guidance and support on software licensing matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, and product development, to develop and implement licensing strategies.
- Review and interpret licensing models and terms to determine appropriate licensing options for clients.
- Monitor and track software usage to ensure proper licensing and identify potential compliance issues.
- Communicate complex licensing information and updates to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on software licensing best practices and processes.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in software licensing policies to provide strategic recommendations and insights to clients.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to maintain accurate records of software licenses and ensure proper invoicing and billing.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and enhance the software licensing process.
- Train and mentor junior team members on software licensing procedures and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on software licensing for the organization and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed.
Extensive Knowledge Of Software Licensing Regulations And Compliance Standards, Including But Not Limited To Microsoft, Oracle, Sap, And Ibm Licensing Models.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Software Licensing Analyst Role, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Software Licensing Agreements And Negotiations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Licensing Terms And Conditions And Provide Recommendations For Optimal Licensing Strategies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Negotiate With Internal Stakeholders, External Vendors, And Customers.
In-Depth Understanding Of Software Asset Management Processes And Tools, Such As Flexera, Snow Software, Or Servicenow Software Asset Management, To Effectively Track And Manage Software Licenses And Ensure Compliance.
