  1. Develop and lead the UX research strategy for ServiceNow's AI/ML products and services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize UX research needs.
  3. Conduct user research studies, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews, to gather insights and feedback on the user experience of our AI/ML offerings.
  4. Analyze and interpret research data to inform product and design decisions.
  5. Work closely with product managers and designers to develop user personas, user journeys, and design concepts that align with user needs and preferences.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UX research, particularly related to AI/ML technologies.
  7. Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including executives and product teams.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of UX researchers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
  9. Work with external partners and vendors to conduct research studies and gather additional insights.
  10. Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our AI/ML products and services to potential customers.
  11. Drive a user-centric mindset throughout the organization by advocating for the importance of UX research and its impact on product success.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve our UX research processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Represent ServiceNow as a thought leader in the field of UX research for AI/ML technologies through conference presentations, blogs, and other thought leadership initiatives.
  14. Stay aligned with business goals and ensure that user needs are represented in product decisions.
  15. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Conducting User Research For Ai/Ml Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting User Research Specifically For Ai/Ml Products. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Opportunities Of Researching And Designing For Ai/Ml Technologies.

  • Strong Background In Ux Research Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Foundation In Ux Research Methodologies, Including Both Qualitative And Quantitative Methods. This Should Include Experience In Conducting Usability Testing, Interviews, Surveys, And Other Research Techniques.

  • Experience With Ai/Ml Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Ai/Ml Technologies, Including Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, And Data Analytics. They Should Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Ai/Ml Experts To Understand The Capabilities And Limitations Of These Technologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Director Of Ux Research, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Designers, Engineers, And Product Managers. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Strategic Thinking And Leadership Abilities: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking And Leadership Abilities. They Should Be Able To Translate User Research Insights Into Actionable Recommendations And Drive The Overall Ux Research Strategy For Ai/Ml Products At Servicenow. They Should Also Have Experience Managing And Mentoring A Team Of Ux Researchers.

Compensation
