We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Center Operations Engineer to join our team at ServiceNow. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of our data centers, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our infrastructure.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of our data centers to ensure smooth functioning and minimal downtime.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of data center equipment to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
  3. Monitor and analyze data center performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement data center upgrades and expansions.
  5. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for data center operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and protocols for data center operations.
  7. Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in data center technology and implement best practices.
  8. Act as the point of contact for any data center-related issues and provide timely and effective resolution.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members to ensure their proficiency in data center operations.
  10. Continuously strive to optimize data center operations and reduce costs while maintaining high levels of reliability and security.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working In A Data Center Operations Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Server Hardware, Storage Systems, And Network Infrastructure.

  • Experience With Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware Or Hyper-V.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Automation Tools Such As Bash, Powershell, Or Python.
