Wireless and Fiber Optic Design Engineer

Sentinel Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Wireless and Fiber Optic Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing and deploying wireless and fiber optic technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The successful candidate must be able to think critically and take initiative to identify areas for improvement.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need to have experience in designing and implementing wireless and fiber optic systems, including the installation of antennas, radios, and fiber optic cables. They must also have a proven track record of designing and troubleshooting networks and systems. In addition, the candidate must have strong knowledge of RF theory and principles, a familiarity with standards and regulations, and experience with network and system security. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and install wireless and fiber optic systems, including antennas, radios, and fiber optic cables Design, troubleshoot, and maintain networks and systems • Develop technical specifications for wireless and fiber optic systems • Identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to implement changes • Ensure systems are compliant with standards and regulations • Monitor and maintain system security • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all wireless and fiber optic systems • Research and advise on the latest technologies and systems in the field • Prepare documents and reports related to the engineering process and project progress
