- Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers in a fast-paced Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge in cybersecurity.
- Ensure the security of clients' critical assets by implementing and maintaining effective security protocols and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively address them to protect clients' systems and data.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as IT and risk management, to identify and remediate security gaps and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and provide timely and accurate reports to clients and senior management.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and recommend remediation measures.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their cybersecurity concerns and providing guidance and solutions.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new team members, ensuring that the team is staffed with highly skilled and qualified professionals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support in client meetings and presentations.
- Continuously improve and optimize SOC processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity, providing guidance and training to other teams and departments within the organization.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with external parties, such as law enforcement, as needed.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in cybersecurity, and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance the organization's security posture.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Security Operations Center (Soc) Environment - The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Background In Soc Operations And Be Familiar With Industry Best Practices And Standards.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Threat Detection And Incident Response - The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Threat Detection Techniques, Incident Response Processes, And Be Able To Effectively Lead A Team In Responding To Security Incidents.
Strong Technical Skills And Knowledge Of Security Tools - The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Various Security Tools Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, Vulnerability Scanners, Etc. And Possess A Strong Technical Background In Networking, Operating Systems, And Security Protocols.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills - As A Team Lead, The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Security Analysts. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Relevant Certifications - Relevant Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Gcih, Etc. Are Highly Desirable For This Position And Demonstrate The Candidate's Expertise And Commitment To The Field Of Cybersecurity.
