Cyber Security Investigation Analyst

Sentinel Technologies is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Investigation Analyst to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our organization and requires a self-driven professional with a proven track record of successful cyber security investigations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of cyber security policies and procedures. We are looking for a team member who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience working in cyber security investigation and analysis. In addition, the candidate should have a strong background in risk assessment and mitigation, vulnerability analysis, network security, and incident response. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, DLP, and IDS/IPS is also preferred. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams as well as the confidence to drive progress towards security goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct cyber security investigations and analyze security breaches to determine root cause.
2. Develop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies to protect company information.
3. Utilize security tools such as SIEM, DLP, and IDS/IPS to identify and respond to security incidents.
4. Monitor network security and detect vulnerabilities.
5. Develop and maintain incident response plans.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of security policies and procedures.
7. Develop and maintain security policies and standards.
8. Research and analyze new security threats and recommend remediation solutions.
9. Monitor and report on security metrics.
10. Provide guidance and training to team members on security best practices.
