Staff Accountant
Santa Barbara Facility is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant. The Staff accountant provides support to the accounting team. End of month/year financial close process. Preparation of financial statements and other projects as assigned. Back up for accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions. Assists with internal controls; maintains accounting systems; developing new policies and procedures. Continuously provides ideas for improvements. Prepare the year-end 1099 reporting for accounts payable.
1 - 2 years experience in a deadline-driven accounting role
Able to apply a thorough knowledge of accounting principals to new systems and situations
Skillful in effectively working and communicating with all stakeholders towards financial compliance
