  1. Monitor and analyze patient data using telemetry equipment and software.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of patient information.
  3. Recognize and report any abnormal findings or changes in patient data to the appropriate medical personnel.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide the highest quality of care for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with telemetry equipment and software.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification Or Training In Telemetry Monitoring: A Qualified Telemetry Technician Should Have Completed A Certified Training Program Or Hold A Relevant Certification In Telemetry Monitoring. This Ensures A Deep Understanding Of The Equipment, Procedures, And Protocols Involved In Monitoring Patients' Vital Signs.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Anatomy: Telemetry Technicians Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Anatomy To Accurately Interpret And Report On Patients' Vital Signs. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Identifying Any Abnormalities Or Changes In A Patient's Condition.

  • Familiarity With Ekg Machines And Other Monitoring Equipment: Select Medical's Telemetry Technicians Should Have Experience Using Ekg Machines And Other Monitoring Equipment To Track Patients' Vital Signs. This Includes The Ability To Troubleshoot Any Technical Issues That May Arise During Monitoring.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask: Monitoring Multiple Patients At Once Requires Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Multitask Effectively. Qualified Candidates For This Role Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Stay Organized While Monitoring And Recording Vital Signs For Multiple Patients.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Larger Healthcare Team, Telemetry Technicians Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Report Any Changes In A Patient's Condition To Nurses And Doctors. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment, Collaborating With Other Medical Professionals To Ensure The Best Care For Patients.
