- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs of patients using telemetry equipment.
- Report any changes or abnormalities in patient's condition to nursing staff and physicians in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient's cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on patient's condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with telemetry equipment.
- Educate patients and their families on the purpose and use of telemetry monitoring.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on advancements and changes in telemetry technology and techniques.

Certified Telemetry Technician: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Certification In Telemetry Technology From An Accredited Institution. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has A Thorough Understanding Of The Equipment And Procedures Involved In Monitoring And Interpreting Cardiac Rhythms.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Select Medical Values Candidates With Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Telemetry Unit. This Experience Helps The Candidate Understand The Importance And Urgency Of Monitoring Patients' Cardiac Rhythms Accurately.
