As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and interpreting patients' cardiac rhythms, providing vital information to our healthcare team.   1. Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
  2. Provide accurate and timely information to healthcare team regarding changes in patients' cardiac status.
  3. Ensure proper placement and functioning of telemetry leads on patients.
  4. Respond promptly to alarms and notify appropriate medical personnel.
  5. Document and maintain accurate records of patients' cardiac rhythms and any interventions performed.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement appropriate care plans for patients with cardiac conditions.
  7. Maintain knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret and report cardiac rhythms.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
  10. Attend and actively participate in trainings and educational programs to stay current on new technology and techniques related to telemetry monitoring.
  11. Follow all hospital policies and procedures in performing duties and handling patient information.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA regulations at all times.
  13. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families during stressful situations.
  14. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
  15. Assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Telemetry Technician: The Candidate Should Possess A Certification As A Telemetry Technician From A Recognized Institution, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Monitoring And Interpreting Cardiac Rhythms.

  • Experience With Telemetry Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working With Telemetry Equipment, Including Setting Up And Troubleshooting Monitor Alarms, And Accurately Documenting Patient Data.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology: A Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology Is Essential For A Telemetry Technician To Accurately Interpret And Respond To Changes In Cardiac Rhythms.
