- Operate and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images, adjusting equipment as needed.
- Administer contrast media as directed by the physician.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions to the physician.
- Develop and process images, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field
Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting
Knowledge Of Advanced Imaging Techniques, Including Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Medical Staff
