Job Description

  1. Operate and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
  3. Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images, adjusting equipment as needed.
  4. Administer contrast media as directed by the physician.
  5. Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions to the physician.
  6. Develop and process images, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  7. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
  8. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  9. Keep up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
  10. Participate in quality control and assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  13. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients during procedures.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient experience and outcomes.
  16. Attend trainings and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  17. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field

  • Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Imaging Techniques, Including Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Medical Staff
