- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT scans, in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, making adjustments as needed to produce high-quality images.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and communicate any concerns or abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain patient records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and timely patient care.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency of imaging procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques, and incorporate them into daily practice.
- Educate and communicate with patients and their families about imaging procedures, answering any questions and addressing concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor at all times.
- Assist in training and mentoring new radiology technicians, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve processes and ensure the highest level of patient care.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field.
Valid State License Or Certification In Radiography.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting.
