- Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of the Patient Care Technician will be to provide exceptional care to patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion: The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of empathy and compassion towards patients, making them feel comfortable and supported during their treatment.
- Perform basic medical procedures: The Patient Care Technician will be responsible for performing basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting samples, and assisting with medical treatments.

- Monitor and report changes in patient's condition: The Patient Care Technician will be responsible for observing and reporting any changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare team.

Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Level Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For A Patient Care Technician At Select Medical.
Certification In Patient Care: Applicants Must Have A Valid Certification In Patient Care, Such As Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma).
Previous Healthcare Experience: Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Whether Through Employment, Volunteer Work, Or Clinical Rotations, Is Preferred For A Patient Care Technician At Select Medical.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Role Of A Patient Care Technician Requires Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Well Within A Team. Candidates Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
