High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Nursing Assistant At Select Medical Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Educational Qualifications.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Select Medical Requires All Nursing Assistants To Have A Valid Cna Certification, Which Includes Completing A State-Approved Training Program And Passing A Competency Exam.
Cpr And First Aid Certification: Nas Must Have Current Cpr And First Aid Certifications To Respond To Emergencies And Provide Basic Life Support For Patients.
Physical Abilities: The Job Of A Nursing Assistant Requires Physical Stamina And Strength To Assist Patients With Mobility, Lifting, And Performing Other Tasks. Candidates Should Have A Demonstrated Ability To Meet These Physical Demands.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Nas Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate Care And Build Positive Relationships With Patients.
