- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the facility.
- Follow established cleaning and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns regarding the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure they are properly stored and used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete daily tasks and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services and address any urgent cleaning needs.
- Follow established protocols for waste management and disposal.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for environmental services to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety.
- Document and report any incidents or accidents that occur during cleaning duties.
- Uphold confidentiality and patient privacy at all times.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic in all tasks.
- Attend training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Knowledge Of Environmental Safety: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have Knowledge And Experience With Environmental Safety Protocols And Procedures, Including Hazardous Waste Management, Infection Control, And Emergency Response.
Experience With Cleaning And Sanitization: Previous Experience In A Cleaning Or Housekeeping Role, Particularly In A Healthcare Setting, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Proper Cleaning Techniques And Products To Maintain A Safe And Sanitary Environment.
Organizational Skills: Environmental Services Technicians Are Responsible For Maintaining A Clean And Orderly Environment, Which Requires Strong Organizational Skills. Candidates Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Effectively.
Physical Fitness: This Role Involves Frequent Standing, Bending, And Lifting, So Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Important Qualifications. Candidates Should Be Able To Lift And Carry Heavy Objects, And Perform Cleaning Tasks For Extended Periods Of Time.
