- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies, to ensure compliance and maintain relationships.
Advanced Degree In Quality Management: A Director Of Quality Management At Select Medical Should Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Quality Management Or A Related Field. This Ensures A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Improvement Methodologies And Techniques.
Extensive Experience In Healthcare Quality Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In A Quality Management Role In The Healthcare Industry. This Experience Should Include Developing And Implementing Quality Improvement Programs, Conducting Audits, And Leading Teams.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards: A Director Of Quality Management Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Healthcare Regulatory Standards, Such As Those Set By The Joint Commission And The Centers For Medicare And Medicaid Services (Cms). They Should Also Have Experience With Accreditation Processes And Requirements.
