  1. Oversee the maintenance and operations of all Select Medical facilities, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for facility maintenance and improvements to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  3. Manage and supervise a team of maintenance and facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  4. Create and manage budgets for facility maintenance and operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  6. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality services for facility maintenance and repairs.
  8. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure facility needs are met and to address any issues that may arise.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in facility management to continuously improve operations.
  10. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and staff by ensuring the facilities are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
  11. Handle any emergencies or critical situations related to facility operations in a timely and effective manner.
  12. Act as a leader and role model for the maintenance and facilities team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports related to facility maintenance, repairs, and expenses.
  14. Communicate effectively with upper management and provide regular updates on facility operations and any issues that arise.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of Select Medical and promote a positive image of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Healthcare Or Hospital Setting, With A Focus On Plant Operations And Facilities Management.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Facilities Management, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Joint Commission And Osha Standards.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing Large Budgets And Implementing Cost-Saving Measures In Facility Operations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.
