  1. Oversee the credentialing process for all medical professionals within the organization, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and standards.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with various credentialing bodies and agencies to ensure timely and accurate completion of credentialing requirements.
  3. Review and verify credentials, licenses, and certifications of all medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credentialing documents and monitor expiration dates to ensure timely renewal.
  5. Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure all employees meet necessary qualifications and compliance standards.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to credentialing processes and compliance.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Communicate with medical professionals and other stakeholders to provide guidance and support on credentialing requirements and processes.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations related to credentialing to ensure compliance.
  10. Train and supervise credentialing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth onboarding and credentialing processes for new employees.
  12. Assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies related to credentialing in a timely and efficient manner.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  14. Participate in meetings and presentations related to credentialing processes and compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Healthcare Credentialing And Privileging

  • Knowledge Of Accreditation Standards And Regulations (E.g. The Joint Commission, Ncqa)

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Credentialing Software And Databases

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Prioritize Tasks.
