Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

1. Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of licensed therapists.
2. Work collaboratively with a team of therapists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
3. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and progress.
5. Continuously assess and modify treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
6. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
7. Stay up-to-date on current research and techniques in occupational therapy to continuously improve patient care.
8. Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and staff.
9. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
10. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and overall facility operations.
11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow all HIPAA regulations.
12. Attend continuing education courses and workshops to maintain COTA certification and improve skills.
13. Serve as a positive role model for colleagues and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
14. Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
