  1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  2. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop treatment plans and goals for patients.
  3. Assist in implementing therapeutic activities and exercises to help patients improve their daily living skills.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with the treatment team.
  5. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and strategies for continued progress.
  6. Ensure adherence to all safety and infection control protocols.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  8. Stay updated on current research and best practices in occupational therapy.
  9. Participate in team meetings and provide input on patient progress and treatment plans.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
  11. Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  13. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  16. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  17. Be an advocate for patients and their needs.
  18. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
  19. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used.
  20. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification And Registration With The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Rehabilitation Or Acute Care Facility.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.

  • Strong Understanding Of Occupational Therapy Principles And Techniques, As Well As The Ability To Develop And Implement Treatment Plans Based On Individual Patient Needs.
