
Senior Manager of SEC Reporting
Seagate Technology is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager of SEC Reporting to join our Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and the ability to lead a team of accounting professionals.The Senior Manager of SEC Reporting will be responsible for managing Seagate’s SEC reporting process. This individual will oversee the timely filing of quarterly and annual financial statements, including the preparation of the 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of SEC regulations and a strong understanding of the SEC filing process.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience. CPA certification is highly desired. Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and the timely filing of quarterly and annual financial statements, including the 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
- Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely SEC reporting.
- Utilize knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations to provide guidance and direction to team.
- Analyze and review financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of SEC filings.
- Develop and implement effective processes to ensure the timely and accurate submission of SEC filings.
- Monitor and evaluate internal controls and processes related to SEC reporting.
- Maintain and update financial policies and procedures related to SEC reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the SEC reporting process.
- Manage, train, and mentor team members to ensure efficient and effective SEC reporting.
- Respond to SEC inquiries and requests in a timely and accurate manner.
