The Financial Services Analyst is responsible for the day to day fiscal activity associated with the administration of Ship Operations and Marine Technical Services (SOMTS), a unique seagoing department of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. The Financial Services Analyst coordinates and audits express card transactions and prepares activity reports for supervisors, follows-up on accounting documents, and provides assistance as directed by the Senior Financial Analyst and Business Officer. The incumbent also processes departmental payroll.
