Visual Stylist

We are looking for an experienced, creative Visual Stylist to join the team at Scotch & Soda Co.! In this role, you will be responsible for curating the visual identity of our stores and ensuring all brand aesthetic goals are met.You must be passionate about fashion and design, and have an eye for detail. You should have an understanding of current and upcoming trend influences and be able to develop visually appealing displays. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

1. Develop visually appealing displays that reflect the Scotch & Soda brand identity and aesthetic goals.
2. Analyze current trends in fashion and design, and apply them to store displays.
3. Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive visual identity in all stores.
4. Work with store managers to ensure the brand aesthetic is maintained.
5. Monitor the displays and make any necessary adjustments to ensure they are up-to-date and in line with the brand.
6. Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and influences in fashion and design.
7. Come up with creative solutions to ensure the store displays are visually appealing.
8. Maintain excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail.
9. Execute creative ideas to enhance the visual impact of the store displays.
10. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all brand aesthetic goals are met.

Scotch and Soda is a Dutch fashion retail company. In March 2023 Scotch & Soda was acquired by the U.S. brand management firm Bluestar Alliance. Scotch & Soda was founded as a menswear label in the 1980s. In 2011 Kellwood and Sun Capital bought the company. At the time Scotch & Soda was an international brand. It was sold in over 7,000 shops worldwide, but there were also 30 company-owned and franchised retail stores.
On 1 September 2019 Frederick Lukoff became CEO of Scotch & Soda. In January 2020, the company launched sunglasses and eye glasses ranges for men and women. By then the brand was sold in 8,000 shops and 250 brand stores. In May 2020 Scotch & Soda announced the launch of its third perfume, Island Water. On March 20, 2023, Scotch & Soda filed for bankruptcy for its Dutch branch. The following week, American brand management company Bluestar Alliance, parent company of Bebe Stores, Hurley International, Justice, and Brookstone, agreed to acquire Scotch & Soda for an undisclosed sum.
