Merchandising Planner

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective merchandising plans to maximize sales and profits • Analyze current and historical sales data to identify trends and opportunities • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and presentations • Partner with buying and design teams to ensure product assortment aligns with merchandising plans • Monitor competitive activity and provide insights to inform merchandising decisions • Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans as needed • Research and analyze consumer insights to inform product assortment • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and visual teams to develop promotional campaigns • Monitor product performance and recommend adjustments to merchandising plans as needed • Provide guidance and support to junior merchandising team members

Scotch and Soda is a Dutch fashion retail company. In March 2023 Scotch & Soda was acquired by the U.S. brand management firm Bluestar Alliance. Scotch & Soda was founded as a menswear label in the 1980s. In 2011 Kellwood and Sun Capital bought the company. At the time Scotch & Soda was an international brand.
