  1. Maintain and repair existing tools and dies to ensure they are functioning at optimal levels.
  2. Produce new tools and dies according to specifications and blueprints.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify tooling needs and develop solutions.
  4. Operate a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, grinders, and mills, to create and modify tool and die parts.
  5. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the tooling process.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and materials for tool and die making.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and techniques in tool and die making.
  10. Train and mentor junior tool and die makers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure efficient production processes.
  12. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance tool and die making processes and procedures.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and deadlines.
  14. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers as needed to source materials and services.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: A Thorough Understanding Of Tool And Die Making Processes, Including Blueprint Reading, Machining, And Cad/Cam Software.

  • Precision And Attention To Detail: Ability To Work With Tight Tolerances And Maintain High Levels Of Accuracy In The Production Of Tooling And Dies.

  • Experience With Cnc Machinery: Proficiency In Programming And Operating Cnc Machines, Such As Lathes, Mills, And Grinders, To Produce High-Quality Tooling Components.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues With Tooling And Dies, And Develop Effective Solutions To Minimize Downtime And Maximize Productivity.

  • Safety Conscious: Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures Related To Operating Machinery And Handling Hazardous Materials, With A Focus On Maintaining A Safe Work Environment For Oneself And Colleagues.
