We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our team in our operations department. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by designing, building, and maintaining specialized tools and dies. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about precision and has a strong mechanical aptitude.   1. Design and build specialized tools and dies using precision measuring instruments and engineering drawings.
  2. Maintain and repair existing tools and dies to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  3. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and improve tooling designs.
  4. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify tooling designs.
  6. Conduct quality checks and make necessary adjustments to tools and dies to meet production standards.
  7. Keep detailed records of tooling maintenance and repairs.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and implement new techniques and technologies in tool and die making.
  9. Train and mentor new team members on tooling design and maintenance processes.
  10. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety regulations and quality standards.
  11. Meet production deadlines and prioritize work to ensure minimal downtime.
  12. Continuously monitor and improve tooling processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
  14. Actively participate in team meetings and provide suggestions for process improvement.
  15. Represent Schneider Electric in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Tool And Die Making Processes, Including Cnc Machining, Edm, And Surface Grinding.

  • Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Blueprints, Technical Drawings, And Schematics.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Tool And Die Issues.

  • Familiarity With Industry Safety Standards And Regulations To Ensure A Safe Work Environment.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Strong Communication Skills For Collaboration And Effective Project Management.
