We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainability & Circular Economy Leader to join our team at Schneider Electric. Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability and circular economy strategy for the company.
Lead cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives and projects across the organization.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainability and circular economy to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure sustainability goals are aligned with business objectives.
Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Manage relationships with external partners, NGOs, and government agencies to advance sustainability initiatives.
Drive employee engagement and awareness of sustainability and circular economy principles through education and communication.
Identify and implement innovative solutions to reduce the company's environmental footprint and promote a circular economy.
Ensure compliance with all relevant sustainability regulations and standards.
Represent the company in sustainability events and initiatives to promote our commitment to sustainability.
Develop and manage budgets for sustainability initiatives and projects.
Mentor and develop team members to build a strong sustainability and circular economy team.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to effectively communicate the company's sustainability efforts to stakeholders.
Continuously assess and improve sustainability practices across the company's operations, products, and services.
Support the company's overall corporate social responsibility goals and initiatives.

Job Qualifications

In-Depth Knowledge Of Sustainability Principles And Circular Economy Concepts: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Sustainability And Circular Economy Principles, As Well As The Ability To Apply Them In A Corporate Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Relevant Frameworks And Standards Such As The Un Sustainable Development Goals And The Ellen Macarthur Foundation's Circular Economy Principles.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Sustainability Strategies: A Successful Sustainability & Circular Economy Leader Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Sustainability Strategies For Large Organizations. This Includes Setting Ambitious Goals, Identifying Key Performance Indicators, And Driving Progress Towards A More Sustainable Future.
Strong Project Management And Leadership Skills: As A Leader In The Sustainability Field, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management And Leadership Skills. This Includes The Ability To Mobilize And Lead Cross-Functional Teams, Manage Budgets And Timelines, And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders At All Levels.
Knowledge Of Sustainable Technologies And Solutions: Schneider Electric Is A Global Leader In Sustainable Energy Management And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Company's Products, Solutions, And Services. This Includes Knowledge Of Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, And Digital Technologies That Enable Circular Economy Practices.
Passion For Sustainability And Commitment To Driving Change: Above All, The Sustainability & Circular Economy Leader Should Have A Passion For Sustainability And A Strong Commitment To Driving Change.
