- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through regular audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues with suppliers.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering open communication and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to suppliers in implementing quality management systems and processes.
- Lead and develop a team of supplier quality professionals, providing training and coaching as needed.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in supplier quality.
- Communicate supplier quality performance to internal stakeholders and propose action plans to address any issues.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in supplier quality management and incorporate them into our processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure supplier quality requirements are met in product design and development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and industry standards.
- Continuously seek ways to optimize and improve supplier quality processes and procedures.
- Act as a key point of contact for any supplier quality-related inquiries or concerns.
- Represent the company in supplier quality-related activities, such as supplier audits and visits.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Quality Management, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supplier Quality Management Or Supplier Development.
Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Principles And Methodologies.
Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Quality Management Systems, Such As Iso 9001.
