- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers' quality systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and take necessary corrective actions.
- Review and approve supplier quality documents, including quality agreements and inspection plans.
- Provide guidance and support to suppliers on quality requirements and expectations.
- Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics and report on performance to management.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in supplier quality management and incorporate into processes.
- Continuously drive for process improvements and cost savings through effective supplier quality management.
- Train and mentor team members on supplier quality requirements and processes.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Take ownership of supplier quality issues and drive timely and effective resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the overall quality culture and promote a continuous improvement mindset within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Quality Or Related Role
Knowledge Of Quality Standards And Certifications, Such As Iso 9001 And Six Sigma
Experience With Conducting Supplier Audits And Managing Supplier Corrective Actions
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Cross-Functional Teams.
