Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier quality management strategy to ensure the highest level of product quality from our suppliers.
Oversee a team of supplier quality engineers to monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier quality-related issues and build strong relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain key performance metrics to track supplier quality performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Identify potential risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a reliable and sustainable supply chain.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and standards to continuously improve supplier quality processes and procedures.
Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Represent the company in supplier meetings and negotiations, ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained.
Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive the company's overall quality and sustainability goals.
Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of supplier quality processes to drive operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Supplier Quality Management: A Sr. Manager - Supplier Quality Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Supplier Quality Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Improving Supplier Quality Performance.
Strong Knowledge Of Quality Standards And Processes: A Sr. Manager - Supplier Quality Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Quality Standards And Processes Such As Iso 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Etc. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing And Maintaining These Standards Within The Supplier Base.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: As A Sr. Manager - Supplier Quality, One Must Be Able To Identify And Analyze Complex Quality Issues And Develop Effective Solutions. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, As Well As The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.
Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Sr. Manager - Supplier Quality Must Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Interact With Internal Stakeholders, As Well As Suppliers. They Should Also Be Able To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Alignment Towards Quality Improvement Goals.
Leadership And Project Management Experience: A Sr. Manager - Supplier Quality Should Have Experience In Leading Teams And Managing Projects Related To Supplier Quality Improvement. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Project Management Principles And Be Able To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
