Develop and implement effective network security protocols and procedures to safeguard Schneider Electric's network infrastructure.
Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches and take necessary action to prevent and mitigate threats.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement security best practices and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of network security systems.
Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
Manage and maintain network security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
Provide support and guidance to junior network security engineers.
Develop and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to address any network security concerns or issues.
Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to network security.
Document all network security processes, procedures, and configurations.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for network security emergencies.
Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on network security best practices.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the security of external network connections.
Proactively identify and address potential network security risks and vulnerabilities.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Network Security Operations: The Senior Network Security Operations Engineer Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Network Security Infrastructure In Large-Scale Environments.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Security Technologies And Protocols: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Security Technologies Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Network Access Control, And Encryption Protocols. They Should Also Be Up-To-Date With The Latest Security Threats And Vulnerabilities.
Proficiency In Network And System Administration: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Skills In Network And System Administration, Including Knowledge Of Tcp/Ip, Routing And Switching, And Linux/Unix/Windows Operating Systems. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Virtualization And Cloud Environments.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Senior Network Security Operations Engineer Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Security Issues And Propose Effective Solutions. They Should Also Have Experience In Incident Response And Management, With The Ability To Quickly Troubleshoot And Resolve Network Security Incidents.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Network Engineers, System Administrators, And Cybersecurity Experts. They Should Also Possess Strong Documentation Skills To Create Detailed Reports And Maintain Network Security Documentation.
