Job Description

Works with Design Engineering to produce customer drawings and wiring schematics, and works with the Mechanical group to produce mechanical drawings that meet specifications and industry standards. Acts as the technical lead on assigned projects and is expected to be knowledgeable and accountable for the work done by all Engineers working on the project. Works with the shop during fabrication and field technicians during startup to resolve issues and coordinate engineering efforts with other engineers as needed. Works with Sales and Applications Engineering as technical support while pursuing business opportunities. Optimize the solutions delivered by integrators to fulfill the application. Actively develops or assists in the development of new product designs. Evaluates projects by designing and conducting research around custom specifications and applying knowledge of electricity, materials, software and electronics.

Job Qualifications

PHD will be considered a plus.
Eight or more years of professional experience with MV and/or LV Switchgear, OEM design activities
Thorough understanding of the concepts involved in electrical circuit design, MV and LV switchgear design, Power Systems
Able to multitask while identifying and communicating scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.
